Cosmic Clock | Ama-Gi Edition

While the technology of the Cosmic Clock is presented in all designs, the Ama-Gi Edition is a declaration of manumission or absolution. It emits a celestial exemption from debts and obligations. Embedded into brass, the glyph originates from the noun ama “mother” and the gi “return, restore, put back,” thus literally meaning “returning to mother.” This ancient Sumerian inscription has been identified as the first known written reference to the concept of being free.

Faceplates

There are two choices for the faceplate of your cosmic clock, Constellations and Metamaterial. The Constellations pattern is an exact match to the night sky in proportion while the Metamaterial faceplate supports a wide bandwidth of the watches energetic field.

Sizing

There are two sizes to choose from. To get the correct size, you need to measure the wrist with a measuring tape. If your wrist is below 6 1/2 inches, you should get the Regular size if it is above 6 1/2 inches, you should choose Large.

Instructions and Care

The Cosmic Clock is not waterproof and should not be submerged or exposed to water. The glass faceplate can be cleaned with a soft cloth. When placing the bezel back onto the brass band in case of removal since it is magnetic, be careful not to allow the bezel to snap to the base harshly; this may cause damage to the design. When sizing the band, do not bend the entire band; this may cause the magnet to detach. It is better to hold the band and bend the edges, as seen in the video.
