Creating Affiliate Links for a Specific Product

Send people straight to the product you're recommending. Your referral credit still applies.

What is a product link?

A product link is your personal referral link pointed at one specific product. Anyone who clicks it lands on that product's page instead of the homepage, and their visit is tracked to you exactly like your main referral link.

How to create one

1. Sign in and open your affiliate dashboard at /affiliate/dashboard.
2. Open the Product Links tab.
3. In the Product link builder, search for the product and click it.
4. (Optional) Add a campaign tag (for example instagram-story or newsletter) so you can tell which posts drive sales.
5. Click Copy. A QR code is shown next to the link for print or stories.
6. Optional: use Share this product to post it directly to social channels.

Shorter links with a personal handle

In the same Product Links tab you can set a personal handle. Once set, your product links look like:

store.secretenergy.com/r/yourhandle/product-name

Without a handle, links still work and look like:

store.secretenergy.com/product/product-name?ref=YOURCODE

Both formats credit you the same way.

Common questions

Do I earn commission only on that product? No. Your commission applies to the qualifying purchase made after the click, under the standard affiliate terms, even if the buyer adds other items.

Is a product link a discount code? No. It tracks referrals; it does not give the buyer a discount. Only advertise a discount if you have an authorized coupon.

Can I make links for every product? Yes, for any product currently listed in the store. Hidden or discontinued products are not available in the builder.

My old links stopped going to the product. Why? If a product is renamed or removed, its link may land on a "not found" page. Create a fresh link from the builder.

Where do I see clicks and sales? In the dashboard's Overview and Earnings tabs.

For eligibility, commission rates and payout terms, see the Affiliate Program Agreement.
